Yes, all of our children learn through play- it's like their job. We foster learning environments for each of the children's developmental stages while still allowing them to direct their own learning paths. We are facilitators in your child's journey of exploring the world.
Yes, we make sure the children feel secure with schedules so they know what to expect next in their day. We won't interrupt if the children are engaged in a learning or creative experience but there are specific times for play, naps, and meals.
Yes, we go outside daily. Our little ones love the big backyard to run around and explore. Our driveway is a popular place to ride bikes or draw with chalk. All outdoor areas are gated and provide a safe and fun environment.
We have a license for 8 children with 2 full-time teachers and one part-time preschool aid.
This home-based facility allows our teachers to offer individual care and attention for each of the children. We understand the needs of each child and create a balance of independent play with direct one-on-one attention. Babies are quite popular at The Learning Crib, so not only do they get individualized attention from the teachers, but they get a lot of attention from the other children in our care.
A child's school readiness is defined by their exposure to all developmental areas. At The Learning Crib we help each child learn their ABCs and 123s as well as other important areas of social and intellectual development including learning how to interact with others, share, respect, listen to direction, caring for oneself, and caring for others. Parents of The Learning Crib have found that their children are well prepared for school when the time comes.
